Reconciliation through faith-guided coaching

Be Optimistic.Be Open Minded.Be an Overcomer.

The work that began as a workbook and a quiet line of teaching has grown into a community of readers and cohorts walking through change together. The line that names the network — and the line that names the calling.

I'm Phyllis. I coach people through the middle of change — seasons of faith, recovery, relationship, and the slow work of becoming an overcomer.

My method is rooted in biblical instruction. The four-step framework — Recognize, Refer, Relate, Restore — is the practice the coaching engagements move through, paced by a workbook and a daily line of teaching. The conviction hasn't changed over the years: reconciliation is a coaching practice, taught, not stumbled into.

The forum for that work: this site — one URL that holds the coaching method, the workbook that anchors the teaching, the storefront behind it, and the daily teaching blog that keeps the cadence moving forward between cohorts.

The coaching method, in practice

How the coaching method works, week to week.

The Overcomers Network is built on a simple rhythm of study. A daily post of teaching goes out — short, honest, paced by the workbook and a real life walked through recovery. The posts stack into a teaching blog that readers can browse, share, or subscribe to; the writing is the instruction, the model is a coaching engagement.

Underneath the blog sits the book — the textbook of the method. Re-launched under the same teaching so a second edition reads as one book, not two. Underneath the book sits the storefront — paperback, ebook, audiobook, signed copies, and cohort bundles — so the workbook gets home on day one.

And behind the storefront sit the cohorts: small coaching groups that pick up the workbook, move through a season together with biblical instruction as the spine, and keep in touch after the engagement ends.

The network isn't a single launch or a single post. It is a steady teaching engagement — names for the people in it, a workbook for the seasons they're walking through, a daily line of instruction that meets them where they are. The four-step framework — Recognize, Refer, Relate, Restore — carries the work forward.
